Captain Hollis Forrester was born and raised just outside of Sweeny,Tx. Influenced by his father and his love of the outdoors, fishing and hunting the Matagorda Bay Complex has been apart of his life since child hood. Following his Great Grandfather, Grandfather, and Father, he became a licensed captain through the United States Coast Guard. Specializing in wade fishing for Speckled Trout, Red Fish and Flounder using artificial lures, Captain Hollis can teach you the various techniques needed to catch these fish and the art of wade fishing which he firmly believes is the key to producing trophy fish or even numbers for the frying pan. He also specializes in water fowl hunting in the Matagorda Bay Complex, so not only can he take you hunting, but he can take you fishing the same day, which makes for a memorable day to say the least. So if fish or duck are on your menu, Captain Hollis Forrester can assure you an enjoyable and memorable day on the bay.

Boat Fishing Trips: up to 3 people $450

A $100.00 deposit is required to confirm a desired date. If bad weather is the cause of a cancellation, captain will reschedule the trip. If the client needs to cancel and reschedule a trip, a 48-hour notice is required.
